The Quercia al Poggio estate is situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico district at an altitude of around 400 metres, surrounded by rolling hills and olive groves which thrive in an ideal microclimate; within the 100 hectare estate there are 15 hectares of vineyards, half on the hillside overlooking the north valley towards Barberino Val d’Elsa and half looking south towards Castellina.
The heart of the Fattoria Quercia al Poggio is housed in a rural village of nineteenth-century origin from which still exudes a peaceful flavor that goes well with the company's products: it is not just fermented grapes or the product of a chemical process. Our wine is a squeeze of stories that tells of fatigue and satisfaction, of lands worked with sweat and determination, of a territory much older than us. Each glass of our products is ready to reveal secrets made of passion to those who will be able to listen to them.
