Domaine Michel Mallard et Fils

Domaine Michel Mallard et Fils

France • Burgundy

Domaine Michel Mallard et Fils was founded in 1952 by Michel’s grandfather. Michel took over from his father Patrick in 2005 and is now running the family estate with the involvement of the whole family. When not working at the family domaine, Michel also makes the wines at Domaine d’Eugénie, the estate formally known as Rene Engel.

Domaine Michel Mallard et Fils is based in the village of Ladoix yet cultivates 11 hectares of vines spread across the Cote de Beaune. They produce 16 appellations in total, including Côte de Nuits-Villages, Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, Ladoix, Aloxe-Corton, Corton and Corton-Charlemagne.

From content to container, the family collectively are working every day to improve the expression of their terroirs through these two fascinating grapes varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
