150 years of farming underpin the Wright family's dedication to Voyager Estate. Their viticulture and winemaking bring everything we love about agriculture together in one enterprise.
The family settled on this special site in Stevens Valley because it had the ideal characteristics to create wines that are at home amongst the world's best. Its geology is the oldest in Australia and the gravel soils, microclimate, aspect and consistent maritime influence make up the foundations of the distinctive Voyager Estate style.
The final step in the journey is the best - inviting everyone to come and enjoy a glass with us in Margaret River. The perfect combination of food, wine and the warmth of family and friends is what a visit to Voyager Estate is about. From the flawless Cape Dutch architecture and stunning gardens, to the spectacular Wine Room and award-winning Restaurant, every feature of the Estate is designed to give you an inspirational experience.

2007 Estate Cabernet SauvignonA rich, ripe style from a warmer vintage with aromas of dark berries, hints of cedar and bay leaf. The palate displays a core of rich, plush dark berry fruits with hints of spice, mocha and dark chocolate. The concentrated fruit character is seamlessly interlaced with fine, ripe and still very structural tannins.
96 Points James Halliday
Dense crimson-purple; proclaims its class from the first whiff of blackcurrant and cedar, the powerful but perfectly balanced palate strongly evocative of Bordeaux, with black olive and high quality tannins underwriting the long finish, oak judged to perfection.

97 Points Decanter
Top 9 Cabernet Sauvignon of the world - Decanter Magazine.
91% cabernet sauvignon, 6% merlot, 3% petit verdot, hand-picked and destemmed to retain whole berries, primary fermentation for 16 days, with some batches held on skins for 21 days, the parcels kept separate during 20 months maturation in French oak (50% new). A powerful, dense wine full of rich, plushy fruit, seemingly riper than Girt by Sea, when the opposite is the case - or perhaps it's just the greater intensity and drive. This will certainly improve with further time

2014 Estate ChardonnayA perfect ripening period for Chardonnay has produced a fine and elegant wine, displaying the hallmark flavours of lemon pith and grapefruit, with hints of tropical fruit and mandarin. Early hand-harvesting, use of wild yeast fermentation and grape solids, combined with regular batonnage, have all contributed texture, complexity and balance to the wine. Sensitive winemaking techniques and the use of French oak have produced a wine with great flavour and texture, which is restrained, complex and elegant.
